Eric Shufro holds a Masters in Computer Engineering and embarked on a career as an Embedded Systems Firmware Engineer. Early on, he gained extensive experience in performing microcontroller board bring-ups, working with well-known microcontroller brands that have since been integrated into larger entities. This role provided him with a deep understanding of computer systems, C programming, various tool-chains, communication protocols, and operating system concepts through hands-on practical experience. Subsequently, Eric transitioned to the oil and gas industry, where he worked on nuclear-based 'down-hole' measurement tools. This opportunity allowed them to gain valuable insights into engineering large and complex systems, along with the importance of multidisciplinary teamwork. Collaborating not only with Mechanical, Systems, Software, and Electrical engineering teams but also alongside Geologists and Physicists was an exciting and enriching experience. Afterwards, they joined iGate in Atlanta and were introduced to the Automotive space, ultimately being directly hired by Panasonic Automotive. Since 2015, where he has been a dedicated member of the Panasonic team, progressing from a Senior Engineer role to a cross-project team lead. Currently holding the position of Engineering Manager, leveraging his skills and expertise to contribute to the company's success. When asked about his work, he expresses a genuine enjoyment in coaching and mentoring team members, guiding them towards success, just as he was supported during the early stages of their own career.
